Tenfield uses ‘matching right’ to keep Uruguayan league TV production contract

January 23 – Broadcast production specialists Tenfield will continue producing Uruguayan domestic football after exercising its contractual matching rights to retain the AUF’s host broadcast production for the 2026–29 cycle. They did leave it to the last moment, though, closing the deal at the death by matching a $4.94 million bid submitted by DirecTV/Torneos and La Corte.
