Orpo to meet Xi Jinping in Beijing on trade and global issues

Prime Minister Petteri Orpo is visiting Beijing this week from January 25 to 28 for official talks with China’s top leadership. The trip includes meetings with President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, Chairman of the National People’s Congress Standing Committee Zhao Leji, and Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao.

The visit is part of Finland’s strategy to maintain open dialogue with China and support the commercial interests of Finnish companies operating in the region.
