Last year, Trump tried to fire Cook because she would not vote to lower interest rates. The president alleged that Cook's termination was "for cause" and accused her of mortgage fraud, even though the Department of Justice has not charged her with a crime. Cook challenged her termination, and the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case on Wednesday.
