Google Chrome for iOS tests Safari data import feature at long last

In the latest beta of Google Chrome for iOS, the browser is finally able to import your Safari browsing data for easy switching. As spotted by The Mac Observer, the feature is in version 145 of the beta and involves importing a file created through Safari.

To use the new feature in Chrome, the user must first export their data from Safari. This can be done in iOS 26 through Settings > Apps > Safari, scroll down to the History and Website Data section, and then tap Export.
