Another California hospital drops gender-affirming procedures, prescriptions
Under the threat of losing federal reimbursement, Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego notified families Tuesday that it will stop offering direct forms of gender affirming care, including “medical interventions, procedures and prescriptions,” limiting its offerings to supportive services such as “counseling, mental health resources and care coordination.”
