Hijab is our dignity, should not be politicised: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Saba Haroon Khan

Shiv Sena (UBT) corporator Saba Haroon Khan stated the hijab represents dignity and personal choice for Muslim women. Her father, MLA Haroon Khan, noted it has never been an issue. This comes after the Mahayuti alliance's victory in Maharashtra civic elections, including the BMC, ending Thackeray family's dominance. Kishori Pednekar was elected leader of Shiv Sena UBT corporators.
