AUSD Notes: Name sought for new athletic field at Alameda’s Encinal High

About 200 people attended Jan. 9’s opening of the new athletic field at Alameda’s Encinal Junior & Senior High School. The short ceremony included a performance by the Jets Marching Band, several short speeches, an official cutting of a red ribbon and tours by Encinal leadership students.
