Carrick’s classy gesture during Man United U21s’ win over Sporting – something Amorim never did
Manchester United U21s claimed a 3-2 win over Sporting CP in the Premier League International Cup at Progress With Unity Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Interim head coach Michael Carrick was in attendance, in contrast to former manager Ruben Amorim, who did not attend any of Travis Binnion’s matches during his time at the club.
Gabriel Biancheri, who netted a brace in the 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in December was named in the starting line-up, but it was James Scanlon who stole the show.
