Tech cos wooing graduates with AI, cloud, other specialised skills at higher pay packages: Report

According to a report in The Times of India, tech companies are offering pay cheques from Rs 16 lakh to Rs 55 lakh to freshers for niche roles, about four times higher than the Rs 4-lakh package usually seen for fresher hiring. Entry-level hiring has slowed overall, but companies are increasingly giving priority to recruiting fewer specialised roles rather than volume hiring.
