Could This Be the Weekend Nazaré Reaches 100 Feet?

After somewhat cooling down since the extraordinary run of late November into December, the North Atlantic is revving up and due to deliver two new swells with some serious XXL juice at the end of this week.

While a lot could change in between now and then, forecasts are calling for a swell much larger than what was seen at the Tudor Nazaré Challenge with readings of 9m at 17 seconds, compared to 4m at 17 seconds on the day of the competition. Could this be the run that finally produces a 100-foot wave?
