Workers urged to check for tax code as £3.47bn overpaid to HMRC coffers

According to figures obtained through a Freedom of Information Request by national accountancy group UHY Hacker Young, a whopping 5.6 million taxpayers were overpaying, to the tune of £3.47billion.
