Daltonganj Cold Shelter Underutilized Despite Biting Cold

A 50-bed shelter home, Ashray Grih, established by the Medininagar Municipal Corporation in Daltonganj to combat the cold, remains largely unoccupied. Despite freezing temperatures, the facility, offering free stay with amenities, sees only a handful of occupants, with many preferring to sleep on pavements.
