EPFO to enable EPF withdrawals via UPI by April, says report; what members need to know

EPFO members can soon withdraw their provident fund directly from bank accounts using UPI. This new facility is expected to be available by April 2026. Subscribers will use their linked UPI PIN for transactions. This move aims to simplify the withdrawal process for around eight crore members. Recent changes also simplify partial withdrawal rules and increase auto-settlement limits.
