SC gives Madhya Pradesh 2 weeks to decide on sanction to prosecute Vijay Shah over Col Qureshi remarks

The Supreme Court has ordered the Madhya Pradesh government to decide within two weeks on prosecuting minister Kunwar Vijay Shah. Shah made objectionable remarks against Army officer Colonel Sofiya Qureshi. The Special Investigation Team has completed its probe. The state government must now grant sanction for further proceedings.
