Transfer portal: Texas gets former Lake Travis linebacker, son of Olympic athlete

Markus Boswell, son of former Texas All-American and Olympic track and field athlete Mark Boswell, has three years of eligibility left after playing for the Akron Zips his true freshman season this past year. He played all 12 games, registering 19 tackles, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and an interception.
