Power discoms clock ₹2,701 cr profit in FY25

Indian power distribution companies have turned profitable in FY25, reporting a net profit of over ₹2,700 crore. This marks a significant recovery from previous years of substantial losses. Improved financial controls, better billing, and reduced technical losses contributed to this positive outcome. Outstanding dues to generating companies have also seen a dramatic reduction.
