Vlhova cleared to race, eyes Olympic slalom title defence
The 30-year-old Slovak tore a knee ligament during a World Cup giant slalom in January 2024 and the injury took a long time to heal because of subsequent cartilage problems and further surgeries.
"I have just completed a medical check-up and based on the results, my medical team and physiotherapists have cleared me for full skiing intensity," a visibly elated Vlhova said in an Instagram post, hailing the "wonderful news".
