Dense fog advisory in place for Delta until Saturday midday – quarter mile visibility

Carquinez Strait and Delta, Southern Sacramento Valley and Northern San Joaquin Valley are the focus of a dense fog advisory issued at 9:34 a.m. on Saturday by the National Weather Service. The advisory is in effect until noon.

The NWS Sacramento CA adds to anticipate, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”

“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” according to the NWS. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
