01/17/2026: Snowy Saturday, More Frigid Air Awaits

After a lull in activity early this morning, snow will overspread much of the region by lunchtime, with varying accumulations depending on location and proximity to terrain. A coastal system will be a very close call Sunday, but accumulating snows from that are expected to stay just east of our viewing area. The breeze picks up for the beginning on next week, ultimately pulling in frigid conditions by Tuesday.
