Shivakumar scraps Davos tour to attend party meetings ahead of Assam polls

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has cancelled his Davos trip for the World Economic Forum. He will attend meetings in New Delhi regarding the Assam Assembly elections. Shivakumar is also leading a campaign against the Centre over MNREGA. This has led to a special session of the Karnataka Assembly. He is meeting senior Congress leaders in Delhi.
