Los Angeles mountain ranges placed under a wind advisory until Saturday afternoon
Western Santa Monica Mountains Recreational area, Santa Susana Mountains and Western San Gabriel Mountains/Highway 14 Corridor are under a wind advisory which was released by the National Weather Service on Friday at 8:49 p.m. The advisory is in effect until Saturday Jan. 17, at 3 p.m.
The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA states to be ready for, “Northeast winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts 45 to 50 mph.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS said.
