Netflix Acquires Phoebe Dynevor & Tommy Wirkola's Shark Survival Thriller from Sony

Netflix has acquired Phoebe Dynevor‘s untitled shark thriller from Sony.

The film hails from Dead Snow and Violent Night director Tommy Wirkola. It was previously on the studio’s theatrical release calendar for summer 2026, but Deadline reports that it was pulled on Friday (January 16), with the rights sold to Netflix.
