White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will deliver a briefing this afternoon amid the President’s first White House meeting with Maduro opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Maria Corina Machado. 

Machado arrived at the White House moments before the briefing to meet with President Trump.

“Nobel laureate María Corina Machado has arrived at the White House to meet with President Donald Trump, who has declined to endorse her following the US capture of leader Nicolás Maduro.
