High time parties encourage people to vote: CJI Kant

The Supreme Court has urged political parties to actively encourage citizens to vote. Chief Justice Surya Kant stated it is high time parties persuade people to exercise their valuable right. The court noted disappointment that only one party presented solutions for voter participation. The Election Commission highlighted that polling is a cooperative exercise.
