Aviation probe agency issues preliminary report on Dec 2025 trainer aircraft crash in MP

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau has released a preliminary report on a trainer aircraft crash in December 2025. The Redbird Flight Training Academy aircraft experienced a loss of engine RPM during a turn onto the final approach. The instructor took control and initiated a forced landing. The aircraft struck a power cable before crashing. Both pilots sustained injuries.
