BJP gets OBC face as state party prez, announcement today

Aditya Sahu, an OBC leader and Rajya Sabha MP, is set to become the new Jharkhand BJP president, replacing tribal leader Babulal Marandi. Sahu was the sole nominee for the post. This move comes after the BJP's diminished performance in tribal areas during recent elections, despite a pro-tribal stance. Marandi will continue as Leader of the Opposition.
