Melissa Gilbert’s husband missing as feds join search in sex abuse case

The U.S. Marshals Service were reportedly helping police in Albuquerque, New Mexico search for veteran TV actor Timothy Busfield, three days after a warrant was issued for his arrest on charges that he engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with two underaged brothers who had appeared in a TV series he was directing.

As of Monday evening, the whereabouts of Busfield, the 68-year-old husband of “Little House on the Prairie” star Melissa Gilbert, were unknown, Albuquerque police told TMZ and People.
