ED attaches Rs 2.66 crores worth assets in Chhattisgarh coal levy scam

The Enforcement Directorate has attached eight properties valued at Rs 2.66 crore. These assets belong to Saumya Chaurasia, a former Chhattisgarh officer, and Nikhil Chandrakar. The properties were allegedly acquired using proceeds from illegal coal levy collections and extortion. This action is part of a larger investigation into a racket that extorted approximately Rs 540 crore.
