Wind advisory in place for Western San Gabriel Mountains/Highway 14 Corridor until Monday afternoon

The National Weather Service released a wind advisory at 2:23 p.m. on Sunday in effect until Monday Jan. 12, at 1 p.m. for Western San Gabriel Mountains/Highway 14 Corridor.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA adds to prepare for, “Northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” according to the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
