Wind advisory affecting Los Angeles County until Sunday afternoon – wind gusts reaching 50 mph

Los Angeles County is included in a wind advisory released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 12:39 a.m. The advisory is in effect until 1 p.m.

“Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Strongest in the hills,” can be expected according to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA. “Wet soils will increase the likelihood of damage due to fallen trees.”
