Wind advisory affecting Western Santa Monica Mountains Recreational area until Sunday afternoon

A wind advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 12:39 a.m. in effect until 1 p.m. for Western Santa Monica Mountains Recreational area.

“Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph,” can be expected according to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA. “Wet soils will increase the likelihood of damage due to fallen trees.”
