Govt readies to roll out population-based cancer registry

Odisha is set to launch a population-based cancer registry across all districts on February 4th to meticulously track new cancer cases and deaths. Supported by Tata Memorial Centre and NISER, the initiative involves comprehensive training for healthcare professionals. This registry aims to streamline data collection, enabling informed policy-making and targeted interventions for cancer control.
