MILPITAS — Milpitas boys basketball is still pretty good.
The Trojans were historically excellent a year ago, when they went 24-5 and finished third in the Central Coast Section Open Division playoffs, also becoming the first public school to win a game against a West Catholic Athletic League team in CCS Open pool play.
Milpitas beat Bellarmine to break that streak and later beat Serra to further make a historic splash in the CCS Open pool.
