ONGC gas well fire doused after five days

A major fire at an ONGC gas well in Konaseema district has been extinguished. The blowout at the Mori-5 well was fully controlled on Saturday morning. Operations to cap the well are now underway. The fire erupted on January 5 following a gas leak. ONGC's crisis team worked for five days to douse the blaze.
