Bengaluru Airport metro line targeted for 2027 completion, says BMRCL

Bengaluru's international airport will have metro rail connectivity by the end of 2027. The project spans 58.19 km in two phases. This expansion will increase the metro network to 175 km. BMRCL is also planning further network expansions and studying over 200 km of new corridors. Technologies like regenerative braking are saving energy.
