Congress to Launch ‘Save MGNREGA’ Movement in Assam from January 10

The Congress is launching a 'Save MGNREGA Movement' in Assam on Saturday, protesting the new VB-G RAM G Act that replaces the rural employment scheme. Party leaders claim the new act strips workers of guaranteed employment and constitutional rights. The agitation, including press conferences, dharnas, and protest meetings, will continue until the new act is withdrawn and MGNREGA is restored.
