Wind advisory affecting Antelope Valley Foothills until Sunday afternoon – winds gusting up to 50 mph

On Thursday at 6:59 p.m. an updated wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Sunday Jan. 11, at 1 p.m. for Western Antelope Valley Foothills.

“Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected,” according to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA. “Wet soils will increase the likelihood of damage due to fallen trees.”
