Coroner Confirms Shark Attack Killed Swimmer Erica Fox

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff has confirmed that Erica Fox, the 55-year-old swimmer who went missing in the waters of Pacific Grove, CA, was killed by a shark.

In the latest update, authorities confirmed: “[the] Corner's Office has determined the cause of death to be sharp and blunt force injuries and submersion in water due to a shark attack. The manner of death has been ruled an accident.”
