Capital city records 9.4°C, lowest in Jan in 14 years

Bhubaneswar recorded its coldest January day in 14 years, with temperatures plummeting to 9.4°C. Several other towns and hill stations also experienced severe cold, with G Udayagiri being the coldest at 2.5°C. Coldwave conditions are expected to persist for two more days before a slight rise in temperatures.
