Panthers F Brad Marchand battling undisclosed injury

Florida Panthers leading scorer Brad Marchand did not return for the third period of Tuesday's 4-1 road loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs due to an undisclosed injury.

In his first full season with Florida, Marchand, 37, is tied for the team lead in goals (23) with Sam Reinhart and has a team-high 46 points.

"He's been dealing with something," Panthers coach Paul Maurice told reporters. "It just got the point we didn't want to make it worse. We're a little sensitive about injuries here now, and do our best to keep guys healthy.
