High wind watch issued for Los Angeles County for Wednesday and Thursday – wind gusts reaching 65 mph

Los Angeles County is included in a high wind watch issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 12:29 p.m. The watch is valid from Wednesday 8 p.m. until Thursday Jan. 8, at 8 p.m.

According to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA, “North winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible.”
