Ring goes big with sensors powered by Amazon’s Sidewalk

Remember Sidewalk, Amazon’s “neighborhood” network that leverages nearby Echo speakers and Ring cameras to connect smart devices that would normally be out of Wi-Fi range? After years of quietly brewing, Sidewalk is back in a big way, with Amazon-owned Ring hard-launching a series of new Sidewalk-enabled sensors, controls, and smart plugs at CES today.
