Americans can still get $250 in January energy bill credits — see if you qualify now

Michigan residents can now get $250 energy bill credits. The Home Heating Credit program offers this automatically to eligible customers. Another program, CARE, provides a 24-month payment plan and helps with past due balances. The State Emergency Relief fund also offers one-time payments for past due bills. These programs aim to help vulnerable customers manage their energy costs this winter.
