UP govt to hold five mega job fairs in early 2026; aim to create one lakh jobs

Uttar Pradesh government will host divisional job fairs in early 2026. These events aim to connect approximately one lakh youth with private sector jobs. The state's skill development mission has been instrumental in generating employment. The initiative focuses on local jobs, preventing migration, and boosting the state's economy. Over 4.32 lakh youth have found employment through similar fairs since 2017-18.
