Lockly TapCom is an app-free video intercom for short-term rentals

Lockly has unveiled TapCom, a wireless, app-free video intercom system aimed at streamlining guest access for short-term rentals and managed properties. It’s designed to eliminate common pain points—such as app downloads, account creation, and Wi-Fi access—during guest check-in.

Targeting Airbnb-style rentals, multifamily housing, and student residences, TapCom allows guests to initiate interaction by tapping the wall-mounted device with mobile device that supports NFC, or by scanning a QR code on their smartphone.
