Flood advisory issued for Los Angeles County until Sunday night caused by substantial rainfall
Los Angeles County is the focus of a flood advisory released at 3:51 p.m. on Sunday by the National Weather Service. The advisory is in effect until 10 p.m.
According to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA, “Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.”
“Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water, mud, or rocks over roadways,” according to the NWS. “Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.”
