Maoist bastion Abujhmad to be mapped for first time

Abujhmad, a long-standing Maoist stronghold in Chhattisgarh, is set for its first-ever survey and mapping since India's Independence. IIT Roorkee is undertaking the task for 246 villages. This initiative marks a significant step as security forces gain ground. The mapping will enable government schemes to reach remote villagers. Cadastral maps will be developed, followed by public objections before finalization.
