National Weather Service Issues ‘Stay Inside’ Warning as 115 mph Winds, 30 Inches of Snow Hit
The National Weather Service has issued a number of warnings as strong winds and heavy snow are expected to hit this weekend.
"A strong Bering Sea low pressure will bring strong winds, heavy snow, and blizzard conditions to Southwest Alaska beginning on Sunday morning. While conditions improve for most areas on Monday, hazardous winter weather will linger into Tuesday near Lake Iliamna and the Western Alaska Range," the NWS revealed.
