Two workers killed in illegal mine blasting in Dhenkanal

In Dhenkanal's Motanga area, illegal mine blasting claimed two lives. Two workers, identified as Abhi Singh and Budhu Munda, were killed when rock debris collapsed at an unauthorised stone quarry. Despite expired leases and blasting approvals, operations continued, raising fears of more trapped individuals. Rescue efforts are underway, and a departmental inquiry has been ordered.
