Pea-sized hail predicted with thunderstorms to hit North Bay Sunday – gusts may reach 30 mph

Marin Coastal Range, Sonoma Coastal Range, Coastal North Bay including Point Reyes National Seashore and North Bay Interior Valleys are the focus of a weather alert for strong thunderstorms issued at 3:02 a.m. on Sunday by the National Weather Service. The alert is in effect until 3:30 a.m.

Wind gusts of up to 30 mph and pea-sized hail (0.25 inches) are probable.
